a microcosm of their collective psyche I have to wonder what is going to be their identity without us to muster up a hate-on for? The Link
WE go out of our way to make them look bad.... just like the poop flinging in 2005.... youtube.com/watch?v=MOJxUeyhhpQ&feature=related
You can always spot the youth on a message board, look for the angriest/most emotional reply! You can really spot the guys who have no idea the lengths the University of Texas went during the bonfire tragedy, much less the band's performance that year.
Gotta love the pile on with guys saying "screw that! we WON halftime!" I've never understood why "winning" halftime was so damn important to them. Now, even when it's blatantly obvious that they didn't "win" halftime, guys have no choice but to keep living the lie, like OJ Simpson. It's beyond petty... just sad.
I love how they keep calling each other ******* but cant seem to comprehend that them claiming that they "never lose halftime" makes them all sound like a bunch of *******.
Amazing that so many of those posters deny that the FLAB (friggin' loser aggy band) performed the "saw Horns off" in their show even after several posted vid links of it. Some realize it was a classless, chickenshit thing to do, but are trying a rewrite to convince themselves and others "Do not believe your eyes. Believe our lies."
Mesohorny, in just a few words you completely summed up everything aggy: "Do not believe your eyes. Believe our lies." Profoundly good work!
I just hope we follow up this Saturday with a repeat of the 1995 joint performance with Baylor. Linky
I liked the guy who talked about how he almost punched "the UT chick" sitting in front of him. God I will miss aggy. Not enough to keep them mind you. They are kind of like a "little johnny" joke, you know you should not laugh but you just can't help it.
It's just amazing. Every possible A&M "stereotype" gets played out in this thread. The paranoia, the "big brother is a jerk because he doesn't think I'm as good as he is" mentality, the "we ALWAYS win halftime and if you don't believe it you're not an Aggie" mentality, the interpretation of every single thing as a sinister plot to undermine A&M. I loved the guy thought we had stolen the A&M flag that we presented at halftime, and then someone pointed out that we fly a flag from all the schools in the conference - but apparently we do it in an arrogant way because we're telling everyone that we're the boss of all those schools or something. But when THEY fly a flag at their stadium, no that's gracious and welcoming...
