Sorry fellas. Since we beat them on T-Day I haven't been able to turn away from that dumpster fire. I'm working on it though. In the meantime, Aggy going insane over LHN again. The Link
so apparently to tx ags, its now against the rules for recruits to visit a building on campus. what a joke. by their logic, you would have to outlaw the chicks that show recruits around campus.
Dumbass aggy doesn't even realize that just because they're leaving the conference doesn't mean they are leaving the state and recruiting it against Texas. Typical retards.
Mindless, 50-IQ, aggie gut-wrenching envy and jealousy. Screw-em. If they don't like it, let them get their own damn network. Their sheep will love it.
Aggy is all up in arms about the pics I posted taken in the LHN studio... it's funny as **** at all the comments along with the Aggy mind set! The jealously & envy on that thread is hilarious. When the ATM decided to move to the $EC, did they realize that Texas was still going to recruit the **** out of this state??? ***-Clowns I say... complete ***-Clowns. $EC... $EC... $EC... I'll put the pics up here as well...
Here's what Aggy is all bent up about which was posted in the recruiting section... by the way, isn't that a great looking group of future Longhorns???
Other concerns.... 1. UT's name itself is a major concern. It's The University of Texas. As in, it's the university of the State of Texas. The University of Texas. Hard to say it any other way without carrying an added clout to the school and it's athletic program. 2. The campus of the University of Texas is exactly 4 blocks from the State Capital grounds. From the center of the dome of the Capital, it's a little over 14 lengths of a football field to midfield of DKR Memorial Stadium. That is one helluva advantage in recruiiting. 3. The University of Texas itself is located in the Capital of Texas, the City of Austin, home also to the nation's most prominent Social Media Event, South-by-Southwest, held each spring. At this major Interactive Media Event, one can attend symposiums, showcase convention displays, panel presentations, and can meet a lot of savvy individuals who would probably ignore anything and everything going on at TexAgs bulletin board. So, the basic gauntlet I would lay down is this: I invite TexAgs members to bring their **** to Austin next spring and hold a panel presentation on the "Uses & Misuses of Television, Facebook and Twitter Regards High School and Intercollegiate Athletics." Here are a few other worthy topics: Blog or Baloney? -- When Your Bulletin Board Is Not Shinola 12th-Man or 12-Steps? -- When You Need More Advice Than You Are Giving How-To-Know When No One Else Wants to Know What You Know or Think You Know How-To-Know When Your Social Media Isn't Part of a Real, or a Virtual, Society
Let's see, we can give recruits tours of our Longhorn Network studios, while at A&M, they axed the department of journalism a few years ago. I know, they could give recruits a tour of the Battalion newspaper offices, I'm sure a media endeavor nearly equal to the LHN.
Who the hell cares what agricultural's fans think about a bunch of our recruits having their pictures taken in the LHN studios??? Do those dolts think we're gonna have a recruiting advantage that we DON'T use? That college has gone from being the laughingstock of the Big XII to road kill in the SEC...agricultural is dead to me, and their opinions mean nothing, beyond their entertainment value.
That's what is so funny about this uproar. Aggy has a facilities advantage over 95% of the football schools in the country. They have no problem showing this off when they're recruiting against, say, Iowa St. But the second there is a perception that Texas has that Aggy doesn't, all of the sudden they want to go all socialist. I hope the cluster-F of the LHN gets resolved soon so that everyone will be able to see it and further piss off the Ags.
Thanks. Not even my favorite AD line. Michael Bluth: I think George Michael is hiding Anne in the attic. Lindsay Bluth: From who, the Nazis?
