Never heard of him before, but this Corey Robinson seems like one heck of a (physically, mentally, musically, etc.) talented kid.
David "The Admiral" Robinson is Mr. Spurs. The Navy grad is a first class man of faith and integrity. His son, who seems to be walking in his father's footsteps, would be an excellent addition.
This +1. What seems to get lost on so many in the recruiting season is that the guys who are recruited are being asked to represent, and be the public image of, their schools first; athletics, while important, is really second. My own take is that Mack sees that, which is why we recruit the way we do, have success the way we do, and continue to attract the quality we do, even after two below-expectation seasons. As a friend says, it's good to be a Longhorn; it's just that some times are better than others.
Gosh, I still remember when he was born!! No surprise considering his parents that he has turned out to be such an outstanding young man. David Robinson is one of the finest athlete and human being around, and I am with all of the above who think UT would be a better place all around if young Corey attended, sports or not.
Corey may end up 6'9" or bigger. David was 6'7" as a senior in HS and grew 6 inches. Interestingly David was in the stands yesterday watching us beat KSU.
