The Link Password is HookEm if needed. Hope we don't get shutout again, Texas State has a been pitching great.
So far so good, 6-1 through 7 complete. Not killing the ball, but with some walks, a TSU error and some key hits doing the job. Probably the best stat is the 0 in the error column for Texas. Knebel in now in to tune up for this weekend in Norman. Has a clean inning and we go to the bottom the 8th with the score still 6-1 Horns. Christal breaks up the shutout with a letter of the law balk call. Was probably the right call as Curtis slipped and his lead leg did go more toward home than third base. In that situation a lot of umps wouldn't have made that call.
Dont recognioze this team, this is the one that showed up against Rice but has otherwise taken the year off so far. Great effort tonight!
Knebel works around an error by Marlow and Horns win 6-1. This is exactly the kind of baseball Texas has to play to win. One thing that worries me is going on the road with the fielding and playing in smaller ballparks with the wind howling out where a routine flyball becomes a homer. Norman can be that kind of place. Still this is the way to take some needed momentum into conference play. Now let's see how long this feed lasts and if any good programs are coming on now on LHN.
