I have been following Hooker and the National Team is gettin ready for London. I can't find a roster or if they have made the final cuts. Looks like Destinee is one of the few team members that has a spot sewed up. The article I read was a little dated and said that while the team is young, the more recent college graduates have little chance in making the team. Does anybody have anything more recent or a final roster? The website just sucks.
Last update that I could find is from usavolleyball dated 27 May 2012 & from what I can see the roster hasn't been updated yet. But Destinee & Lauren are still listed as part of the team thus far.
That was more than I could find, thanks. I did read that players like Faucette would have trouble making this team because it is so rich in talent.
mwa, if ever I am on a game show about about UT or more sports than just football I want you or maybe FWHorn to be my life lines. Thanks in advance and thanks for your like of a variety of sports.
100p: Honestly, it is all google. I will sit by the computer with Google warmed up for you though..... As I get older, I start to appreciate the other sports more and more. I can barely watch a Pro Sporting event anymore, I can honestly say that I have not watched one from beginning to the end since the Bears lost to the Colts in the Super Bowl. Women's College Volleyball and Softball have moved up to very high on my list the past few years. Quick pace, great athletes, and sportsmanship(Oregon softball series questionable) abound. Women's soccer and tennis because family and friends are playing in college and or tallking scholarships with various schools. The Sportsmanship in the sports is what is leading me to follow them more and more.....
The USA national team took down Brazil on Sunday in Brazil 3-1. This team is rounding into shape. I have yet to watch a game but reading about them, they sound very very scary!!!
Brazil is a volleyball hotbed, so to beat the Brazilian national team is something! Dare we dream of a medal?

So we play a round robin in our pool, 5 games. The best four teams in each pool advance to the medal round. Then the teams are seeded and a single elimination tournament breaks out. Does that sound right?
Destinee nominated for the team. Not that there should be any doubt about her being named to the team.

USA wins 3-1. Those last two sets were rough, especially the third one. Good to see Hooker play so well.
