I read that. No one knows the extent of the injury. He was running sprints. Bring on Jalen Overstreet.
wonder if OB's is over dramatizing something to get people to go to their site. guess we'll find out soon
Good points Hu. I found the following article that sheds some light on the subject. Are Hamstring Injuries Preventable?
TC - My point is that a doctor ought to understand the difference between anecdote and science. Had he said that he'd like to see a study done to evaluate the hypothesis, I'd be in full support. However, he asserted a level of certainty about the cause of the injury without any type of scientific data. Doctors making those types of unwarranted claims are usually quacks. As for the QB position, I think our #2 is a serviceable backup. He can come in and play in spots and be effective. However, you don't have to be Vince Lombardi to see that he's too limited physically to be the full time starter. Game planning against an immobile QB with about a 12 yard max throw would be a DC's wet dream.
Was thinking of that scene in Airplane when Leslie Nielsen got into that misdirected dialog about being a doctor... "don't call me... Shirley" was part of it, and I think it had something to do with a doctor.
Is it fair to ask a question here about pros and cons of sports news sites? If.. if anyone was willing to pay a large 8.95 tub of popcorn a month for something... would hookem.com/24x7 be worth a tub of popcorn? thx (isn't a tub about 8.95 or thereabouts?)
If hammy injuries are clearly preventable, then... "Hey Vince, hey Ash, you guys are doing it wrong!"
Glad to hear it isn't a as "bad" as originally reported from "sources". I would expect they can easily give Ash a rest for the first week and then see how he's doing.
That's funny, because from the first six pages or so of posts on Orangebloods, I thought Ash was scheduled for an amputation next week...
Minor injury is good news... "Can you fly this plane? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious and don't call me Shirley"
Looks like some Orangebloods posters quit the wrong day to quit amphetamines! Billy, would you like to travel with the Penn State football team?
^^^ Mack was quoted as saying it was much over-blown... One of the pay-sites this morning said it was minor! Telling sign will be the next day or two if he's working out with the team or being held out.
