Looks like the LHN will have another first for LHN viewers: Craig Way calls the game on KVET and the video is on LHN.

    Per ESPN Media page:
Longhorn Network will air a special complementary telecast of the Texas v. Ole Miss matchup this Saturday, Sept. 15 at 8:15 p.m. CT live from Oxford, Miss. The program will be titled Texas GameDay Extra: Longhorns at Rebels.

The game airs nationally on ESPN. On LHN, the 24/7 University of Texas network, viewers will see the game from alternate angles, including the popular “all-22” angle and a view of the Texas sideline. Next Level stats will scroll throughout, telling the game story by the numbers. The telecast will be paired with the radio call of the game, featuring Craig Way, Roger Wallace and Rod Babers, courtesy of KVET, the University of Texas flagship radio station.

The Texas GameDay crew, featuring LHN’s Lowell Galindo, Ahmad Brooks and Chris Rix, will be live from LHN’s Austin studio offering analysis throughout the game while Kaylee Hartung, on-site from Oxford, will provide updates from the sidelines.

Programming Schedule for Saturday, Sept. 15:

    6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Texas GameDay

8:15 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. Texas GameDay Extra: Longhorns at Rebels

    11:15 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Texas GameDay Final

Will be interesting to see the two broadcats side by side to see how the different camera angles affect the game watching experience. [IMG]

I will be watching the LHN version no doubt. More personal feel than the National Broadcast version. It almost feels like I am in the stands they way they present Games on the LHN. With LHN Texas Gameday... it kind of feels like you are there.

That is so awesome. It's always so hard to match up the radio and tv broadcasts manually. Usually one is several seconds ahead of the other.

I have always wanted a dual big screen setup in the living room. I think I can make a business case for it now. By ‘business case’ I mean Dio ******* wants it.

What dththree said, with all the pregame, the band the singing of the eyes, you don't get that with the Network versions.

Watching games on TV, LHN is by far and away the best broadcast.

LHN is frigging sweet if you can get it. I watch the game replay with coach mack. I also enjoy:
All Access: this is behind the scenes at games/meetings etc
Practice: Watch Overstreet in practice, he wants to redshirt
    Game Plan: with coach Brown
Texas Next: Previous weeks game of next weeks opponent
Overdrive: Fast forward last week games with coaches comments

    This channel is tits. [IMG]

Listening to Craig Way is awesome. I often have the game on XM while the TV is on. Problem with that is the delay. Sounds like this is gonna be a cool deal.

Listening to the radio broadcast while watching the game was great. The video presentation left a lot to be desired, but in the end I would watch again. Hopefully they will work on smoother video transitions.

Taps that is what it appeared to be. There are usually two team cameras with the other one in one of the end zones, but I don't recall seeing anything from that view.

I had expected using one of ESPN's cameras but that did not materialize.
