And this just happened to be in North Carolina, a swing state that Obama may lose. What a coincidence!!! Sounds like some good ole Chicago-style community organizing is going on there. And have you heard of a single voting machine that changes an Obama vote to a Romney vote? Probably not, but I've heard of the opposite happening in Ohio, NC, and several other swing states.
Yep. You think think these people would be brazen enough to show up on election day with a busload of mentally handicaps, with a line, half full of conservatives, going around the building? Not a chance in hell. There is a reason Dems always do better in early voting, and it is not only because of their "better ground game." (unless you consider cheating part of the ground game)
Yeah, so you're ultimate message really boils down to is that anybody held by the government to be considered mentally disabled just shouldn't be allowed the right to vote. Or just how else would you propose dealing with that?
How about letting only immediate family members or legal guardians "help" them with their vote. The DNC showing up with a bus full of donuts just doesn't cut the mustard.
If there was specific evidence of undue influence on these people, I'd have a bigger problem with it. However, without it, you need to err on the side of letting them vote.
Leftwith, Whats going to be the excuse when your boy loses on Tuesday? Dead voters, felons, minorities....the mentally handicapped?
Kind of a problem that people who mentally can't take care of themselves are bused to a polling station and told who to vote for. I'm kind of surprised that this doesn't bother an educated person. However, I guess if it is "your guy" (your words) all is okay. Nonetheless, I think that attitude, no matter how pervasive in society, is offensive.
