Pleads to Fitzgerald to (basically) campaign on his behalf to the coaches

    Yahoo link

Don't know if this is a new low for Vince, or actually a good idea. Fitzgerald is languishing in Arizona right now. they badly need change at QB

I wish he would have just contacted the organization and said he'd come in and work his *** off to be a part of righting the ship.

Why not give him a shot. Skeleton sucks, and that wimp Kolb has never been good. Can't get worse than that

I wouldn't touch Vince with a ten foot pole. Apparently he had another tweet that was directed at his haters in which asked his twitter followers to help him put something in his hater's mouths because his zipper was stuck. That tweet was deleted shortly thereafter.

The Skins are using the #2 drft pick who they are paying $$$$$$$$$ to run the read option. Surely someone could pay Vince a fraction of that to run a package of plays out of the read option. He knows that kind of offense, he would be cheap, and a team in the shitter has little to lose.

It speaks to idiocy in background politics that Vince is not on the cardinals already. You cannot do any worse than the cardinals are doing now. You can't score fewer points and sell any fewer tickets than the cardinals are doing now. If 58-0 isn't enough to scare the few remaining fans away, Vince at the very least can scrap a few wins and what's left of his reputation together.

The fact that not even the Cards will touch him should tell you all you need to know about his chances of making it back to the NFL.

He'll get chances for the next few years. Invited to camps and whatnot. He'll either be good enough or he won't.

It is not so much about Vince as it is the prevailing philosophy in the NFL. Namely it is better to fail using a successful method rather than fail using an unproven method. Take for instance the situation with the New York Jets. Any sane rational person would change what they were doing. In the NFL however people that deviate from the traditional offense are rare.

There is not a single best way to build a car or a house. There is not a single best way to score points in the NFL.

Vince has hurt his chances in the NFL but his style of play is one that many coaches in the NFL simply won't risk.

This was an interview with John Lasseter from Pixar talking about their success and creativity...

Vince needs to be on the 40 acres as a football ambassador or Liason for UT. It won't pay off his debts, but it may stabilize him. The NFL is done with VY , not due to talent, but lack of predictability.....there are many less talented journeyman QBs that are pure yes men looking for a paycheck and don't bring the baggage.....I hope VY lands here and helps us out in some capacity........
