Defending national champion volleyball team beats #1 Penn State yesterday and #2 Stanford today in back to back games. If we cant be a football school at least we can be a volleyball one.

I admit to not following volleyball that closely, but I do love to watch Texas when I get the chance. I'm confused about the rankings though. I could swear that I read the other day that we were ranked #1 and PSU was #2, but now I see they were #1 and we were #6. What's up with that?
Gregory was bumpin' on Saturday! Less so today, but still a good turn out. I know I'm a girl, but it's really hard for me to get into women's sports. Volleyball is one of the few that I actually get pumped about. Way to go, ladies!
I have trouble getting interested in most women's sports, but women's volleyball is exciting as hell. Those gals are spiking the ball with velocities of up to 60-70 mph. I'll take the atmosphere of a volleyball match at Gregory Gym over a men's basketball game at the Erwin Center (yawn) any day...
Yeah... funny how winning and winning National titles can produce attendance records... even for Women's sports.
You want national championships and a sport that has both men and women on the team? This Longhorn team has won back to back national titles and the tower was lit all orange last April to honor them. The Link In fact they called this a world cup so I guess it was a world title. Texas beat the #1 team from LA to win the title just like another national championship team.
Attendance could approach the record 3035 set in 2009. Neb and ISU could hit the 4000 mark as both are in the top 20.
