I am a little more optimistic with the defense. They seem a little better since GR took over. The offense will be to vanilla with Case starting. He cannot stretch the field the way Ash can. If Case starts, then it will be a lot closer than if Ash starts. I think we win but the margin of victory will be based on who starts at QB.
Close win, but enough for MB to declare that everythings fixed and the program is back on top during the post game interview.
Lots of woulda shoudas for last 3 years....if its cold and we get punched a lot early... it'll be another loss with MB throwing up his hands and saying how he needs to look at tape on the plane.....
I went to the Tulsa/ISU game Thursday night. Tulsa stayed with them with a 14-14 tie at the half. Tulsa's QB play was poor and ISU pulled away second half. Mack Brown absolutely must get reps for Swoopes AND Jalen Overstreet in this game. Jalen should run the wildcat, speed sweeps and short passes out of the backfield. Save Daje for OU. If we go into the Cotton with just a dinged up Ash and Case we are in T-R-O-U-B-L-E. And yes that will be Mack Browns fault. Please use your head this time Mack and do not be timid.
Using his head scares Mack Brown to death... Overstreet gets his 1 touch per game. Swoopes admires his seat next to the Gatorade jugs. Horns pull out an ugly win.
