    Makes the most sense.
If Phil had all the power this would be so.

They would be unbeatable within 6 months
    Thoughts?

Except for his 10 year extension with Baylor.

I've seen coaches sign contract extensions and leave within a month. That said, I like Briles at Baylor and am glad he has good reason to stay. With Nebraska and Texas A&M gone, the Big 12 needs another national marquee team and Baylor plays an exciting brand of football that if maintained will attract a good attendance and television viewers.

That would be a horrible fit. He wouldn't like the mindset up there and they wouldn't like his preaching.

There's nothing Briles can do at Oregon that he can't do is doing at Baylor. For all their fluff, Oregon always gets schooled by a big, strong team in the trenches. Briles has better access to recruiting here and little to no pressure to be a pwoerhouse year in and year out. Unless they drop a boatload of money to get him, I don't think he's going anywhere.

I didn't realize Briles was such a hick until I saw an interview with him the other day. The guy sounds like a hillbilly. Hard to imagine that working in Eugene, Oregon. I think W. Virginia or Appalachian State might be a better fit.

And Mack sounds like Mr. Haney on Green Acres. He actually kind of looks like him as well. lol

Mr. Haney had a basset hound named Cynthia who had a crush on Arnold the Pig. I loved Arnold the Pig. Was there ever a funnier, more talented, pig?

What a burlesque abortion of a brain you must have there, Deki. You should really stop eating your own ****. Only brain-damaged animals do that...

Since everyone is ignoring the obvious here then I will say it. Pete Carroll is the best option for Sam Houston State and then they will finally get over the Fighting Bison hump.
