Ugliest uniform of the day

Goes to aggy with arkie a close second.

 

Aggy just tryn too damn hard to be cool.
Be like Mizzou and just let it happen. No need to be attention whores.

 

Notice aggy helmet incorporates the entire state of Texas shape, implying some sort of state dominance. To contrast you'd never see USC or Alabama in their primes use their state shapes. It's an insecurity of the 1st degree worthy of aggy.

Texas is a state university with a global reach. Our alumni and impact go beyond 950 miles. And yeah their uniform was ugly too.

 

aggy will be taking off their car decals and t-shirts in the morning.

 

The A&M Missouri game should be a good one.

 

Even my A&M friends thought the off-gray / maroon blend was awful.

 

I'm not a fan of these dark grey uniforms. A&M had a similar look last year against Mississippi State, but it was all black, and it looked fine. The dark grey makes it look like you're wearing trash bags over your uniforms.

Y'all must have missed the Tennessee gray uniforms with bright orange numbers and accents - UGLY!!! Much worse than others mentioned IMHO.

 

....everytime I see these uniforms roll out, I think of what my reaction is going to be when my beloved LONGHORNS take to the field with whatever they come up with...

 

Somewhere Phil Knight of Nike is laughing. He pimped out his alma mater, Oregon, with outlandish unis that had nothing to do with their traditional colors. Now its caught on and everybody is doing it. Of course, Nike probably makes a buck or two off the deal.

 

Aggy has a uniform that makes no sense.

They should also take the outline of the State of Texas off their helmets. They aren't Texas.

 

Steve Patterson has too much self-respect to ever let us take the field dressed out like these asshats.

I really don't like them but I hope the recruits did. Who knows but gray is the worst.

And I love that the state of Texas outline annoys the **** out of you guys.

 

That's the thing, recruits seem to love this stuff.

 

BCS #1, 2, 3 ... As of this week.
Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State...

All undefeated.
All wear traditional uniforms.
Among two of the coaches, 6 nat'l titles in BCS era.

Probably not a coincidence these coaches and their programs shy away from making helmets and jerseys a priority to mess with.

Has there been a BCS-era champion with alternative helmets and uniforms? I'm trying to recall.

 

I guess people will (and do) complain about anything, given the choice.

I didn't mind the aTm uniforms. They loooked better than some of the other ones they've previously worn.

 

I thought Baylor's were bad. i like the helment but that claw on the shoulder pad was weak.

Both Florida state and ohio state have worn pro combats before.

Pretty sure ohio state will be doing so against michigan.

 

That huge state of Texas on their helmets is consistent with the huge state of Texas that goes from one free throw line to the other at G. Rollie, or whatever barn they play in these days. Part of their fixation.

I wish we would do away with the orange and black oklahoma state halloween practice jerseys we have. They are terrible. If we have to use a third color (we do not), gray is our third color. There is a team in our conference that is orange and black. It is not UT.

 

I've no complaints about free speech in a sig. In fact, I'm anti-PC all across the board in society. Sucks.

I'd like to see Auburn win the game.
Missouri beat A&M and then win the SEC.
Michigan beat Ohio State.
Did I leave anything out?
