    With OSU now slotted for the Fiesta, I am seeing several bowl projections that put an 11-1 Baylor playing Clemson in what would be a very interesting Orange Bowl.

    Assuming Texas beats Tech and OSU beats the Cheaters, that might allow the Cotton Bowl to choose Texas instead of Texas falling to the Alamo or Wild Wings.

    I think we're due for a redux in the Alamo. Most likely against Arizona State.

    Highly unlikely that two Big XII teams make a BCS game.

    For that to happen, Wisconsin would have to lose to Penn State and Michigan State would have to lose to Minnesota and Ohio State. A 10-2 Wisconsin or 11-2 Michigan State would be an easy choice over Baylor, as they would be a better TV draw and would bring 3x as many fans to the game due to much larger fan/alumni bases.

    If oSu loses to the sooners, Baylor makes it to the Fiesta with a win over UT, but oSu gets left out. Either way, only one Big XII team makes a BCS game if Wisconsin and Michigan State win this weekend.

    If all things go as expected, the Big XII bowl lineup will be;

    1. Fiesta: oSu (11-1)
    2. Cotton: Baylor (11-1)
    3. Alamo: OU (9-3).... Texas has a head-to-head win and better conference record, but OU will be ranked higher with a better overall record and has never played in the Alamo Bowl.
    4. Buffalo Wild Wings: Texas (8-4)
    5. Holiday: Kansas State (7-5).... unless Oregon ends up here, in this case they might want to take Tech (lateral move) to avoid a re-match of last year's Fiesta Bowl.
    6. Texas: Tech (7-5)

    While I don't like Arizona, I hope we fall o the Insite.Com Bowl or BW3 or whatever the sponsor of the week is out there. I would one hell of a lot rather see Greg Davis' offense against our defense than Oregon or LSU or lose to that piece of **** Todd Graham.

    I strongly disagree with it being even remotely a forgone conclusion that a 2-loss Mich St. or Wisconsin team would go to a BCS over Baylor if they gut TCU and Texas. It's possible they'd go over Baylor, maybe even probable, but I wouldn't buy my tickets before the announcement. lol

    Brad,
    Other than the fact that Baylor might be more entertaining to watch (and that's questionable due to Baylor being exposed by the only top notch team they've played), what possible reason would the Orange Bowl have to invite Baylor over either of those teams? Bowl games are about money, and Michigan State would bring a lot more TV sets and a lot more traveling fans. Barring something unforeseen, either of those teams are no brainers over Baylor.
