The right wing is not proposing any changes. The only person proposing changes at this time is Eric Holder. The OP was an idea about having voters have an actual stake in the game rather than just voting themselves more handouts and thus destroying the country. Let's expand voting to 5 year olds, Canadians, felons and hell the Middle East. That way, the Dems always have a dependent base!
We all know that both parties do underhanded things to gain and retain power. That said, I think the point is that those who work hard everyday in private industry to make a living and raise a family don't want to be forced to fund a growing population of entitlement receivers. They want some sense of fairness; i.e. if you want to take my money to fund those who don't contribute I should have more say in that transaction. The ones who receive but contribute nothing will always vote to receive more when it costs them nothing. Human nature 101.
