"Texas A&M football is filled with tradition. Its newest custom seems to be players earning an arrest record during their time in College Station." I smell an aggy boycott of "their" paper.
Mesohorny, You are right on. The Houston Chronicle is absolutely the aggy student paper. I really hated to see the Post go away.
Aggies think their probation laden history is okay too, just like the Sooners do. Maybe we'd feel the same way but we don't know, we did not have to cheat any time we were even somewhat good. Aggies, they can't say that without lying through their tooth.
film American Psycho Lady leans over to Christian Bale, trying to hear, they're in a bar. It's very noisy. She: So what do you do? Bale: Murders and Executions. She: Beg pardon? Bale: Mergers and Acquisitions. This whole idea of deflecting something into something else. Before, during or after. Epictetus was big on calling things by their name.
If it was my child, yes. But my child won't make money after being drafted into the NFL. More than likely, RSJ will and this arrest won't prevent that from happening. My child on the other hand could have a more difficult time landing employment if arrested for this. This is one arrest and it appears that he's going to fight this arrest. This isn't a big deal.
Perhaps RSJ will be able to "find" some of his signing bonus money to engage a top notch attorney to get him out of this fix. Hopefully his auntie hasn't blown it all yet. Ah yes, do not besmirch this young mans character.
From a post to the article in the Dallas Morning News: "Who knew "The House that Johnny Built" would be a police station."
I'm with FireRC on this one. It looks like he got loud/angry and that's why he was arrested, not because of any actual physical altercation. Hell, Tarell Brown was booked twice and tasered for his shenanigans, and he still has a productive career going in the NFL. People making a big deal out of this are grasping at straws to keep the Mack Brown curse alive as long as possible. I'd still take RSJ in a heartbeat, considering what we've had to work with at receiver since Jordan Shipley left.
