The mysterious demise of Rusty which hit close to home because my beloved pet and hunting dog of my childhood through high school was also named Rusty. Because of this, though most entertaining, it still me gave a slight case of the heebeejeebies. My Rusty died a natural death and there was no suspicion of consumption involved.

Would definitely be in my top 5 along with USC versus greatest armies in history; the 1999 Big XII Championship game recap (I still cry laughing when that one pops up in the classics); the Boston College baseball game thread and the thread that was Travis' letter from the alamo but done by an aggie from Lubbock when the Tech fans took the goalposts through the aggie section.

But the greatest post was from whom I don't remember but he sat in a airport toilet listening to another guy talking on his cell in the next stall! absolutely the funniest thing I've ever read.
