The Apple of my Eye graduates from The University of Texas - Austin on Sunday College of Natural Sciences Proud Daddy!
Outstanding - congratulations to her and to you... this means you will be getting a pay raise starting next week!
And another for graduating in Natural Sciences! I didn't make it past three semesters in Natural Sciences before I fled to Communication.
LC, As a Father of four I know how you feel. Congrats to you and your daughter. Now go on a nice cruise, you deserve it.
Thanks Hornfans. It's a pleasure and an honor to have a group like this to share personal/family milestones
Congratulations! Seeing my daughter, son, and wife (in that order) graduate from The University of Texas are three of the proudest days of my life.
Congrats to you & your daughter! From your original post (dated 4/16/11) I'm guessing she either started in Summer or Fall of '11. And she's graduating in Dec of '14? Dayum! That's impressive. While that's great for you and your finances, she missed out on at least another 1.5 years of the best time in her life! Somebody should've told her to slow down.
Yea, she's one impressive gal! A little background; she was an awesome goalie in high school, but broke her wrist in her last game of sophomore year. The next year she said she wasn't going to play. I asked her if she was afraid to hurt her wrist again but she said no, just wanted to focus on school. Being the supportive dad that I am, I told her to stop lying! But Dude, she graduated a year early from high school, didn't even walk the stage because she took a class at local JC that conflicted with ceremonies. I thought, this gurl frazy! But she's had laser focus since. My baby gonna be rich some day. She also works 4 jobs and owns a small internet business with her fiancé. She is actually going to attend another semester at UT to get her GPA up. It's high now but she plans to go on to physical therapy school and wants to be accepted right away. She told me she will take over the finances from here. Ain’t that sweet? Yea, I'm a proud Mofo!
Congratulations! I watched both of my sons graduate from Texas and nothing will bring a tear to your eye like watching your kid walk across that stage and then sing the eyes of Texas. Enjoy the moment.
