Ducks big. Jones will be overwhelmed and try to do too much. Oregon doesn't score a ton, but OSU won't hang. 38-20 Ducks. The classy Ohio fans go home a loser again. I hope I'm wrong and Oregon can really embarrass them. Go Ducks!!!!
I hope the Ducks beat the **** out of osu. May the karma ***** bite them in the *** just like it did fsu.
I don't see that happening, I can see Ohio State winning. Oregon has the best QB, but that wont be enough. Urban Meyer is a great college coach and hired a really good coaching staff. Meyer took over an 6-7 team on probation at the end of 2011. His record for the next three years: 2012 12-0 2013 12-2 2014 13-1 playing in the NC game. His first three years of recruiting: (Rivals) 2012 25 players ranked #4 2013 23 players ranked #3 2014 24 players ranked #2 He has a great young team that is well coached and will a have a great game plan for the Ducks. If you were going to beat Meyer and Ohio State, it had to be early in the year. There are not going to be many losses by Ohio State for a few years.
Ducks best WR and RB are out. I was thinking prior to those announcements that tOSU might win the game. Meyer has had about 2 weeks to get ready for the game. I believe the bucks will beat the ducks tonight.
Ducks get stopped more often than they stop the Bucks. Rooting for them but do not believe they will pull it off. tOSU beat a better team in playoff and they are primed. That plus Oregon losing top RB and WR.
The power game of tOSU vs the Up-Tempo passing game of Ore. Ducks' D need to get the Bucks' O off the field quickly and often, otherwise tOSU will run the ball and wear out the Duck D while chewing up the clock. Oregon held up well against FSU's running game so we'll see. I do expect OSU to mix it up some but if they get a good lead, that slow grind it out ball control game will kick in. If the Buckeyes are playing catchup, different story. I just hope it's a good game to watch
Yes, Oregon, though I'm not sure it will be a blowout. If Oregon wins, it will be the first time that has happened against Ohio State. (Ohio State is unbeaten against Oregon in eight previous meetings).
Inexperienced quarterback will quack under pressure. Buckeye defense will not be able to keep up. Ducks by two touchdowns.
Ducks are really hurting from missing their top receivers. Buckeyes haven't stopped the Ducks yet, but the Ducks have stopped themselves on two possessions with dropped 3rd down passes. Ducks defense better tackle better or they are done.
Terrible missed PI call, but the Ducks are mainly killing themselves. Three consecutive unforced errors on third down.
Oregon looks discouraged. Ohio State looks like they smell blood, and Jones looks amazing. Where does a guy with no experience get this level of poise? I sure hope Heard pans out.
Oregon strikes me as a team that has a lot of talent and wins games but has never quite convinced themselves that they belong on the big stage. Or something like that.
Jones has two fumbles. I think its more A. Ohio State's coaches, B. Offensive System, and C. the offensive line than it is Jones being a dynamic QB.
State has the best O line I've seen this year. They dominated Bama and they are destroying Oregon. When Oregon rushes 4 they don't get close. The holes they are opening up are huge.
Ezekiel Elliot (Ohio State running back) had 220 yards rushing against Wisconsin, 230 yards against Alabama and 223 yards so far against Oregon... and everyone (including myself) has been focussed on the QBs... Give this running back and offensive line some love.
