RIP Chuck Bednarik............

    he was one of the NFL legends/ tough guys I remember hearing about as a kid. That photo of him standing over Frank Gifford after he had laid him out is one of the all time great sports shots. Besides his NFL stardom he was a WWII vet having flown 30 combat missions over Germany as a B-24 waist gunner......RIP Chuck.

    Chuck Bednarik was a monster at LB. I can remember watching him on TV when I was a kid. He and Dick Butkus were the best I've ever seen play...mean, determined and tough. Bednarik was a 60 minute warrior. Sad to learn of his passing. RIP :hookem:
