How far we have fallen in sports. The last Track and field event tells the entire story of how far we have fallen. The 4 x 8 relay. The US record is held by the 2004 'Horns, who I believe won the Nat'l Championship. The defending champions in the event were the 2014 'Horns. 8 teams were in the relay. We finished 8th. The defending champions finished 8th. A Sophmore, 2 Juniors and a Senior made up the team. Texassports.com says we were "impressive". What a load of crap.
Patterson needs to do what the aggys AD did and upgraded all around.
We suck.
