So in addition to 2,400 unsold tickets on the Texas side, multiple outlets, (LHN, Mike Finger) are reporting that,
Texas announces Bevo XIV won't make the OU trip "due to a life-threatening condition still being explored by his veterinarians."

Probably better that he doesn't witness the game this Saturday.

This is so sad, and I hope Bevo recovers soon. When I first read the headline I thought that Patterson told Bevo he had to pay his own way to the game and people forgot to tell him we got a new AD.

Are there still Longhorns north of Austin, at the Westinghouse building.? Couldn't we recruit one of them on the way to Dallas?

Bevo has four stomachs. Given that watching the game last Saturday made my one stomach turn, I can't imagine what he must be going through.

BS. Throw him on the smoker, get another Bevo and let's beat the crap out of the sooners. Goodness gracious. I'll be there and I will see the rest of you true Horns in the hood.

I hope he was our curse and now we win out.

If he's got a weak heart, Cotton Bowl is no place for him.

    Get well big guy.

I believe in the 1990 TX/ou game, Bevo missed that game as well!! I remember walking in to the stadium and saying, "Hey, that's not Bevo!" The next day, The Dallas Morning News had a picture of "Scab Bevo" as we called him in one of their gameday pictures. Apparently his handlers couldn't find him on the ranch and pressed for time were like, "ahhh, take that one!" We all recall how that game turned out for the Horns. Hell, let's find out if Scab Bevo still lives, because that Dude is still 1-0 against ou!!!!

Big guy is faking. If he won't stand up when the chips are down, let him roast above the coals.

What's the attrition plan? Surely, Bevo 15 has already been selected.

The Coop sent an email today saying Bevo would be at the Dallas store tomorrow.
    Did no one tell them?

I was at this first game and I hope he pulls through. He has not been our CURSE! He's probably sick like the rest of us. Get well soon, sweetie!

Right ... Studley was just in Pasadena both trips

I understand you may not be able to appreciate this, but he's someone's "pride & joy."

... and I'm fortunate to know who that is. Great folks.
