They are complaining about only scoring three points and not being able to air it out. Yet, they were so happy to go to the tough, stout defensive minded SEC!SEC!SEC! They were going to get the best recruits in Texas. Logic defies these maroons. The defenses in that conference are supposedly superior to anything else in the country, but these gomers thought no one would figure out how to defend them, and they would win games while scoring 50+ points every week.

Texas recruits are best suited for spread offenses, right? That doesn't work in "their" vaunted conference, right? So, will we see a drop off in their recruiting? Probably.

 

Order is being returned to the universe.

 

I have never been to the aggy boards but if I did then I would have to take a shower to get the aggy off of me.

 

I notice his battery is a little low, if you know what I mean.

 

Thing is I agree, I'd rather him stay right where he is at.

Ags post-game radio broadcast has a commercially sponsored "Drive of the Game". Listened to it after Ole Miss game. The drive was--drumroll please--"4 plays, 7 yards!", ending in a field goal. Really great stuff. Always entertaining.

 

I did have to shower immediately afterwards. I felt so dirty and I'll never go back there again....

 

We have to remember, no matter how many days it has been since our last fix, we will always be aggy-misery-aholics.

I had a lengthy post up and deleted it, but the brevity of it is the Rise & Fall of aggy in 2015 after seven game. From nowhere back to nowhere.

AP pre-season, unranked.
Game 1, beat #15 ASU, got ranked #16
Game 2, beat Ball State with half a hundred on them.. #17
Game 3, beat Nevada, up to #14
Game 4, over Ark at Jerry World.. #14
Game 5, win over visiting #24 Miss State... how about #9 !!
Please note: as of now, neither ASU or Miss State are ranked... nor is A&M... getting to that.

So, at 5-0, in Top 10 and living large. Big eyes, big dreams. #10 Alabama coming to town.
Off week. Aggie #9 about to host #10 Alabama. Game of The State... #GOTS
And, in that off week holding #9, in the AP, A&M got one first place vote.
If your blood is actually maroon, can you imagine how giddy that could make you.

Game 6, lose to Alabama. By some accounts, more than the score. 3 INT pick-6s by the 5-star starter, one INT by 5-star No 2. Drop to tie at #15 with Michigan.

Game 7, on the road loss to Ole Miss, putting up 3 points. Back to unranked where the season began. For "you kidding me," read the team stats and passing statistics for A&M on the game.

Gotta love those aggy meltdowns! My favorite Dave South radio call was the game they lost to OU 77-0. Classic!!

Mine was the BU loss, when BU was awful. A full 30 sec of silence after BU scored to win the game with no time left.

 

Ha ha ha ha! Yeah, I forgot about that one. BU went for 2 and got it for the win as I recall!

The aggy fans around work caught a lot of flak.

While I absolutely despise everything Aggie, their expectation of impending doom is, well, greatly exaggerated. They may not have been that good at 5-0 but they are certainly not that bad at 5-2.

The obsessive reaction to "one" bad game is comical. Here, on this board, this one, right here, the one you are reading now...we would never, ever, ever, EVER overreact like that...would we?

Hey, but I would be thrilled to see them lose the rest of their games, or at least lose to SC, Auburn and LSU. That would bring me great joy.
