"Now get out some low-fat cooking spray...Ah, just kidding, use butter!"

Good stuff. I'm not a huge fan of his movies, but Rodriguez is the ****.

Interesting that he uses no cheese or salsa. I guess if you make homemade tortillas, you really don't need many frills.

    Damn I'm hungry now.

That is almost my exact recipe for tortillas, migas, and potato and egg tacos, except I use canola and butter for the tortillas and add a little onion to my potatos. That was a pretty impressive demonstration. Does anyone know what his first recipe was he mentioned?

I made the puerco pibil for dinner tonight and invited some friends over. Fan-*******-tastic. There was 6 of us, everyone had seconds, and we still had enough for one more plate.

I made the pork dish as well. It was very tender but I think cooked a bit long bc it was a little dry. I also used huge lemons which added a bit too much lemon flavor. I can't wait to try it again as I think it will be great now that I've worked a few kinks out.

I made the puerco pibil the other day and was slightly unimpressed. I cut down the lemon juice a bit and probably should have compensated with a bit more vinegar. It came together when I put it in tacos with some pickled red onions, but by itself it wasn't that great.

Next time I'm going to toss in a diced yellow onion, a bit more vinegar, and a touch of molasses.

Oh, and two seeded, deveined habaneros didn't do it, heat-wise.
