I propose starting a new forum: OFFSEASON FOOTBALL FIGHT CLUB Two members (or four if you want to have tag teams) notify @BevoBeef of their fight intension. Bevo then creates a thread announcing the upcoming match and inserts a poll for members to vote on who will win. 24 hours later the poll closes and the match begins with the contestants duking it out about whatever football topic they chose. At the end of the fight, Bevo announces a winner selected by all the Mods. The members who voted for the victor are then awarded a free weekend stay at @NBHorn7's "Ranch." Of course, all of this would depend upon the immense amount of traffic the servers could handle due to an healthy influx of new members. So, everyone needs to remember...
How about a new forum called "Opinions I have repeated on multiple threads at least 25 times but from now on will be automatically relegated to this Forum". Wait, all other forums would wither away.
Well, its an interesting notion. But this off season is killing me. So I would like someone to freeze me cryogenically right now, and then defrost me the Wednesday before our first game this fall. Just in time to get focusness heated up and make my prediction on the Horn v. Notre Dame pick em thread. (spoiler alert: Horns win!)
I thought that cryogencical stuff was just for freezing your head. I heard of losing your head over sports and football, but that might be carrying (horn) it a little too far.
I'll have to check my calendar, but I feel like someone slipped in about three extra months into this off-season...
<Bill Murray - Carl Spackling voice> So we got that goin' for us, which is nice <Bill Murray - Carl Spackling voice>
The ladies...errrr....board of directors out here at the ranch have supported several prior Hornfans endeavors however they are concerned about the emotions of said fight club victor spilling over into the bed.....errr...board room upon their visits. They said there would need to be some sort of conditions. However they do send thanks to those of you who frequent the ranch and wouldn't want to jeapordize the ongoing business relationships.
I would have thought that, with NBHorn7 being a "Pimp Daddy," he would have a "ranch" of some kind as well. Guess not. So now we turn to you, Vol Horn....
I grew up with horses and cattle. We got out of the business when I left for college at UT. Being in rural northeast Texas, the addition of a Bordello was frowned upon. We did have some spirited "fillies," but they were of the four legged variety. Also had lots of "heifers," they were of the white faced and marbled meat kind." They mostly wound up at the "J and J Livestock Auction Barn,"in Nash, Texas, which is close to Texarkana. Dion put that moniker on me because I had a sort of "pimped out" Monter Carlo, in college. It has been well documented on the Cactus Cafe forum.
You know if you look closely at that picture, for those that know him. That kind of looks like Robert Agnor, with an afro. Sorry Robert, if your reading this. I was a tad bit bigger than that, was 6' 3" and about 200 lbs, when I had that car, was in good shape. By the way I had the over/under of that picture being posted on this thread at five minutes. I took the under and won easily.
I certainly had some "Trixie" like girls at that time. As I have said before, the only Trixie I have ever known, was my Uncle Homer's dog. It was a gentle dog, but it bit me when it had puppies. Once bitten, twice shy of Trixie's, even those wearing bell bottoms. Let's give Dion a "tingle down his leg"with some music from this time. It was a 70's song redone by "Great White," in the 80's. He gets weak kneed about the 80's stuff.
