I'm not interested in speculation. If you have actual knowledge of what beers will be available please post. I'm only interested in drinking craft beers, not the usual miller, coors and bud swill.

This Fox 7 news segment gives a few clues. Around 52 seconds in it shows a cooler of Coors Light and Miller Lite cans. They also say a few craft beers at $9 a piece will be available.

I remember seeing Crispin and Blue Moon, although the blue moons were hidden somewhere fancy, because they weren't at any of the booths I passed by. I just saw people holding them. Coors Light and Miller Light were also there for the party.

There were also a few craft looking beers that I didn't even recognize. The beers were only 2 different prices (that I saw). $8 for domestic and $9 for "premium".

When we decided to pony up $8 for a can, all that was left (NEZ) in the 3rd Q was Miller Lite and Coors Lite. Two tasteless choices.

I found a cart with Dos Equis, but they were out. I got tired of looking around for something good, so I just went to the Corral Club. I have always been able to get Shiner Bock in there and I was still able to get Shiner Bock. However, to my surprise, my $8 now bought a 16oz can instead of the usual 12oz can. I usually drink IPA's and only drink Shiner when that's all I can get, so I didn't even know Shiner Bock came in a 16oz can. It was nice being able to take the beer back to my seats.

Before the game, Champions Club had the standard 12oz Shiner Bock and the same selection of beer from last year. At least you can get Fat Tire in there. They took out a ton of tables and chairs -- added in a buffet for $15 -- I don't know how I feel about those changes.

$15 for one pass through. Burgers, hot dogs, cold cuts, salad stuff.

Edit - I think they said they had pulled pork, too. It's on the third floor.

Lone Star please, it's considered a luxury in New York.

I remember one time when we were in Omaha for the College World Series, there was a bar behind the Red Lion Hotel, the CWS team hotel at the time.

We went in there some and a bartender saw us wearing UT hats and he rushed over and said he had something special just for us.
He went in back and brought out a six pack of Lone Star, we tried not to laugh, he meant well. I don't hate Lone Star, have drank my share, even Pearl, and of course Shiner, but we didn't come all that way to drink Lone Star.

They should come out with a craft beer called "Patterson's Demise." I bet that would sell pretty well right now.

It would be bold, overpriced, and leave a bitter after taste.

That may all be very true, but the aftertaste would be so satisfying, it would be well worth it.

Besides you could flush Patterson, right down the toilet later, now that would be truly satisfying.

I'm old enough to remember Shiner when it was considered a half notch up from Texas Pride.

Texas Pride was still a notch up from Buckhorn. I remember ironically, when you could buy a six pack of that stuff, for about a buck.

Shiner doesn't make the best brew on the market, but it's much better than your standard macro offerings.

Seems like in my days at UT, Shiner was just a little more expensive than the generic beer in the white cans. Didn't even try the stuff until it becamse expensive and fashionable. I always liked Lone Star, but didn't like Pearl. Worst beers ever to me were Schlitz Light which would give me a belly ache when I drank it fast and Billy beer, which had a gastrointesinal impact so horrifying that even to this day certain unpleasant odors will bring back a blast of bad memories.

Lonestar is some of the nastiest beer ever. Back in the day, we would drink anything that had alcohol in it, and Lonestar is the only beer I wouldn't drink. It's been almost twenty years, but it was so bad, I can't even bring myself to give it another go. I would even take some AB InBev swill over that crap.

Can actually go one better than that...early 90's, the State was having people in various agencies attend a "Governor's Management Development Course" that was run down around San Marcos. During the week I was there, someone got the bright idea that we could get a few cases of Carling Black Label to finish after we had consumed a case of good stuff.

    HUGE MISTAKE!!!

There is not enough good drinking beer in the world to mask the disgusting reality that was Carling Black Label.

I have always wondered how many college kids had the same thoughts we did that ill-fated trip to the store...not to mention whether they had the same after-thoughts..
