    SabreHorn,
Well, Jimmy obviously knew how to coach. I don't know how much he knew about the rule breaking at Miami. Maybe I didn't like him because of the obnoxious way Jerry fired Landry. The Cowboys, to me, always stood for the best things about Texas. Jerry was a brash, stupid, Hog loving a-hole who thumbed his nose at everybody and everything I loved about the Cowboys. f**k him and the razorback he rode in on. Manziel and Jerry would make good drinking buddies and not much else.

Not surprised...under jerruh, the Cowboys are a rival of Barnum & Bailey as a traveling circus over the past years. Hopefully for the Cowboy fans, this doesn't happen. Manziel is a drunken clown of a QB and would only provide more distractions which that team doesn't need. Better to draft a good QB like maybe Goff out of Cal, than bring in a guy like JFF who would do a Houdini mid-season.

The Dallas News has reporting that Johnny Football was reportedly seen in a Dallas liquor store over the weekend.

Late to the party but want to weigh in here ... nothing Jerry has done has made me abandon the 'Boys - but if he brings this jackass to Dallas I"m done.

two years hence Johnny will be out of football, living in Austin and partying with Vince. And he will pay to have someone drive them home.

I followed the Cowboys from their first season in 1960. They started as an expansion team with a bunch of NFL castoffs. The first few years were pretty rough a victory here and there.. Great management and coaching with Tex Schram and Tom Landry finally built some great teams. I followed them faithfully until Jones came along. I really resented the way Tom was treated. I followed them a few more years and after winning three Super Bowls in four years I pretty much figured that was as good as it gets. Never cared for Switzer either so now watching a Cowboy game has no emotional involvement or priority. Johnny football would be a perfect addition and crowning glory to the Jones legacy of insane football decisions.

It's okay. He took all the alcohol, but he left 10 dirty napkins with his signature on them. Someone call up Uncle Nate and ask him how much just one autographed napkin would sell for. I guarantee Manziel overpaid for his liquor.

I bet it's going to happen. Jerry would love the media coverage. He will be Romo's backup and TV and Radio will talk non-stop about it. Jerry and Johnny are a match made in clusterfuck heaven.

I grew up in Dallas and was a Cowboys fan for decades and occasionally still watch them if I come across a good game by accident on TV. To me the off-the-field Cowboys are now like the Kardashians, kind of like unpleasant trashy people I'd rather not hear about but am forced to because of all-pervasive celebrity news. Manziel would be just another in-bred cousin moving into the trailer. The worst part would be that he would be living in the trailer just down the street rather than in Ohio, so I would be forced to be more aware of him.

To be fair, it seems like most of the off-season craziness is on Jerry. Most of the players seem ok - even Romo's thing with Jessica Simpson was pretty mild. The wife-beater (or was it gf-beater?) that Jerry brought on has fortunately been an exception, and the worst stuff has typically just been prima-donna stuff from the wide receivers. That's basically become par for the course in the NFL the past few years, so I almost don't notice it anymore.

"To be fair" is not something Cowboys hating, Houston Texags fans have any interest in. They know no sense of fairness, reality, or competent football analysis when discussing Dallas. Honestly, the type insults they rely on are strikingly similar to Aggy.

An absurdly injury dismantled Cowboys season and everyone forgets one questionable incompletion kept them from the NFC Champ Game just 13 months ago. I guess they suddenly transformed from 12-4 to 4-12 because of poor talent. :rolleyes1:

So much easier to just say Jerry is pathetic which is why they're 4-12. At the same time they wouldn't give him an ounce of credit for 12-4.

Or better yet...Romo sucks, that's always a favorite of Texags. Nevermind he led the entire NFL in QBR last year. OR...

In 10 seasons, 4 times Romo ended Top 5 in QBR
In 14 seasons...No Texags QB has EVER made top 5 in QBR

Romo finished Top 10 in QBR in 8 of 10 seasons. The only two he missed were injury seasons missing 10 games (2010) and 12 games (2015).

Continue on with the Cowboys hate, we find it humorous coming from mostly Texags. Fans of a team with 14 seasons and zero accomplishments past or present.

I guess you do have one star...J.J. "Good Times" Watt....of course he's already been milked for every last drop for bragging material.

If ball-slobbing J.J. Watt was an accomplishment...you all would be hands-down world champs. :puke:

Johnny is such a train wreck even Jerrys won't touch him.
Last night's episode should sink Johnny for good.
    Does Cleveland still pay him?

Cleveland has given up and will dump him. I guess he can claim affluenza. Hard to believe someone pitching that much money in the can.
