All we have to do is reconfigure and reduce the size of the Disch by 12%, and we could have offense like today.

I've always supported this. So many good years we struggled to produce over 4 runs at home. It mostly worked out with our superior staffing pinning opponents down.

But then we traveled to smaller parks of opponents and start blasting homers all the sudden. Lot of CWS memories of suddenly becoming a long ball offense after few signs of it at home all season.

Stout pitching was always our calling card so keeping opponents relatively in check at a shallower Disch while we increased our homers would've helped more than it hurt.

Wish we'd do this and match others to add more excitement and power at home.

Congrats to our Horns. We get one more day of the season and we'll see after tomorrow night what else might be in store for us weary fans.

TCU has gone nuclear on OSU in the eighth inning. They have scored nine runs and are still batting, with a 13-5 lead.

Unless something very unsual happens, Texas will face OSU tomorrow.

Luken Baker is a monster, as a true freshman, he reminds me of Brooks Kieschnick, he can do it all.

Who will the pitchers be tomorrow night, NB?

Probably Kyle Johnston, for the Horns, on a short leash, if his control is bad. You have to hold out Mayes, if possible, to start another game

OSU will now have to make some decisions, on how they use their staff, both teams have to win three straight games, to make the Championship game.

This is life in the loser's bracket of these kind of Tournaments.

TCU does win and will face Texas.

It was late and I stayed up to watch this game, even posted about how OSU would have to use their staff, OSU will face Texas.

Just clarifying to others who might read these posts who we are playing.
Actually, I'm more excited about playing Okie State than TCU, as probability is in our favor...in spite of our having no pitching staff.
Here's hoping we can piece together some pitchers and get a win. After all of the embarrassment and frustrations our players have gone through this year, it would be nice to see them have a few positive moments. After all, it's the players we should concern ourselves with....they're just kids trying to learn the way through the process.

You just said it's about the players and then said we have no pitching staff, in the same post. I think the pitching staff is made up of players, you know those kids. The pitching staff is and has been the best aspect of the team, has been for years, its documented.

Your just post one strange thing after another, your an embarassment to this board and nobody takes you seriously. All your about is promoting Augie Garrido, not the kids.

Your act and then trying to cover up what your about is beyond tired.

In fairness, I appreciated the correction.
