And the other 20 hours of each day, they will show the 1984 game against OU over and over again. Ah yes the rainy tie. Great promotion for the program!

No my bet is a continuous loop of the Longhorn Golf Club commercial with Mack as the narrator.
If you need a place to stay you can rent one of the beautiful Casitas, from what I hear.
Not sure if you fellas of seen this one, but I've seen it a time or two....as in twice during your three set commercial break .... at every commercial break

Any of you guys that complain about the programing, pony up the annual fee from ESPN and you can do what you want with the programing.

Remove Longhorn Extra, All Access, All-22. Replace with OC presser and DC presser.

I'll start by saying I like the LHN, but it's missing the mark in many different ways with programming. The Olympics and lack of any coverage whatsoever of Texas athletes was disappointing. The LHN needs to be a tool that we can use for exposure, not reruns of mediocre games that ABC/ESPN holds the rights to.

But secondly, is the bottom line the $15MM we bring in annually? Are we spending the money on something that actually resonates with recruits for all sports? I'll take as many reruns and unoriginal programming as necessary if there were actual, on-field results that correlated with an increased media presence.

NBC tightly controls Olympic video so any coverage of Texas participants would have been one minute snippets.

I heard David Thomas moved to Lubbock and is no longer a part of LHN.

Basically, the only football programing we'll now receive are Gameday (cut from 2 hours to 1), Gameday Final, Rewind, and the HC, OC, and DC press conferences.

    Sucks, actually.
