Some of you probably remember that when VY was still with the Titans, he missed showing up for an MRI because, as it turned out, he was worried about how severe it would show his knee injury would be. He was absolutely pilloried for that, including by Jeff Fisher, Just this morning, Jason Garrett confirmed that Dez Bryant missed team meetings for two days and failed to show up for his MRI because he was afraid of what it would reveal. If you watch Garrett's press conference, you will see he is minimizing the issue, saying, with a smile on his face, that like all of us, Dez simply was nervous about going to the doctor and getting bad news. Just found the contrast between the two situations interesting.

This is about as big of a non-story as possible.

So a fiercely passionate competitor who lost most of last season to injury freaked out over the potential of a repeat and avoided his MRI for ONE DAY.

Was taking it the next day going to change the results? Either he would miss no time, miss a brief period, or have a serious injury.

Taking the MRI a day later doesn't change anything about when he plays next.

He was already being tended to right after the game and given instructions how to protect and care for the knee until the test.

The only problem his poor judgement caused was for Jason Garrett to look bad with no information to give hounding media and fans. Big deal.

JG deserved to sweat under media pressure for a day. His press conferences are absurdly bland, non-informative, and unnecessarily secretive.

For example he often claims lengthy serious injuries are day-to-day giving fans no real insight into a legitimate ballpark of recovery time. Which is a big deal to fans.

Romo was day-to-day after he broke a bone in his back. Collins is now day-to-day with a jacked up (possibly torn) ligament in toe. Tapper was listed day-to-day since back in mid-August, hasn't practiced in 6 weeks, and now goes on IR.

Serves JG right being left uninformed on an injury and out in the cold. He does that nonsense to his own fanbase to the extreme.

Jeff Fisher is a stinking dump of a coach?
