How do I watch the game outside the USA?

I'm in the Dominican Republic and have decent wifi. I ran the Watch ESPN Andoid app and could see the game scheduled þo be available, but got a message saying the content could not be accessed outside the USA.

    Any ideas?

I probably could stream the audio, but might have a similar issue there.

vipbox.tv can find foreign streams of the games. The quality is usually ok as long as your internet is good. You can have to be really really careful where you click and will have to close a couple of popups though, so use at your own risk.

Yeah, a couple or so. :smile1:

Seriously, I have had some decent results with vipbox.tv. It will sometimes redirect you to vipbox.eu I think, so it may change. And there are usually a few different links for a game, so you may need to try the others if the first one doesn't work well. Be patient with those popups though and you'll finally get to the stream.

I cannot officially tell you that if you ran a search somewhere along the lines of "Reddit college football streams" that a couple of watching options would appear for you. And yes, be careful what you click on.

Great question and I am hoping that folks much more savvy than me can enlighten us.

I go to Mexico often and this is always a huge problem. I have actually linked to my home based laptop through Splashtop and then watched a game on my iPad, streamed from my home, via my home cable app. In essence I am watching my home laptop screen from on my iPad while in Mexico. It's not the best option but it works.

I have heard that Slingbox may be the way to go but have hesitated to spend the money for only one or two games a year. But I believe that the Slingbox content, linked and connected to my home cable box, may not be blocked. I've heard that I might be able to sign up for Slingbox and have content streamed anywhere without a physical box located in my home. (This is something I need to investigate further.)

Another angle that makes sense but I have not investigated is to note the IP address (on my iPad) and other addresses on my iPad while I am in my home in the US. I would then see if I can manually populate those codes while I am in another country. My thinking is that if I can trick the servers into believing that I am in the US and not Mexico, perhaps the content will not be blocked.

    It's a very annoying problem.

The Texas Sports audio for the soccer game worked fine, so I assume the football audio will work also. That's probably as good as it gets for me on my tablet.

I'm researching ExpressVPN and also HMA (Hide My ***). I'll probably trial ExpressVPN as they satisfactorily answered my questions this evening...
