50+ years of following Longhorn football can I remember such a poorly coached defensive and special teams units.............dammit it all blocking for a extra point aint rocket science......if everyone just blocks down there isnt any damn holes for guys too come shooting up the middle.........makes you wonder how Traylor won all those games at Gilmer if he cant coach better than than............Charlie has got to go!

Except for Gilbert this staff has been thoroughly exposed.

I think Gilbert's offense will be exposed more and more this season unless they can add to the playbook. It's becoming very easy for a good DC to adjust at half-time to this version of a spread offense.

Actually he is doing more as a first year coordinator with a true freshman QB missing a starting offensive lineman than anyone else on the staff.

I don't disagree but the other teams are catching up now and will have ample film soon. 30pts/game will not win many given the lack of D being played.

Thanks to special teams and defense, I completely agree. I think Gilbert's offense only gets better with time. I cannot say the same about anything else right now.

Ok we're scoring more points but who in all honesty can say we shouldn't have scored more today? We certainly had many shits at getting back into this game. Our lack of any crossing patterns is absurd this far into season.

We do have a true freshman QB. He is being exposed. We also have a below average O line who cannot give him time for most post routes to develop. But I agree with your premise that we have to score more than 6 points in the second half.

I don't see it that way. OSU made adjustments at the half and we didn't. Plus, we lost our two hosses.

From what I observed, Gilbert may have been outcoached in the second half. I say that because we certainly have the receiving talent, Buechele seemed to have ample time (most of the time) and he was accurate when he threw. That would suggest to me that the receivers simply were not open. If true, it would either be because they were not running the best routes or because OSU adjusted and had them covered.
