I'm pretty sure "+" does mean Texas is the underdog. http://www.oddsshark.com/sports-betting/point-spread-betting
KSU does not throw the ball downfield well. If you load up to stop the run and QB zone read you should hold them below their scoring average.
I agree if our defense loads the box and stops the run , we may have a shot. The only problem is that we have to depend on our dbs making plays. Maybe Strong's effort on the defense will start to pay off this week in the secondary. Our offense will have a big challenge against Snyder's defense, especially with the injuries in the line and rb. Kstate will blitz a lot from a lot of different angles. We might see our qb run a lot more than we like. I would love to go into the rotten little apple and win this one. Texas has the better athletes and Kstate has the better head coach. Hopefully, the coaches can finally fire up our players and have them ready to play at an away game at 11:00am. I will be ready at 11:00am after removing anything with a purple hue from my game room. I am temped to take Texas and the 3 1/2, but this game does not make my top five bets for this weekend.
Jordy Nelson was a big thorn in our spine, too. Hard to believe KSU, of all schools we have played a significant number of times, is one of two besides ND with a significant winning record on us.
The third generation of Lockett's are running around the school yards of Tulsa. I am sure they will appear at KSU in a few years.
Living here in sand aggy country, all of my friends are thinking this is Texas' game--don't understand why, especially after the scoring fest they had on tceh, but young and old all believe Texas IS the better team and will finally win at K State (2002?)--go figure...
Yes; and ksu does not have a typical B12 offense. We have to hold them under 24 to win, imho. I think us being the dog in ksu's house, at their homecoming, makes sense. If I were objective, which I'm not, I would take ksu and give the points. But I think we will beat em in a small upset.
This^^. If we can "just" score 30 we win. wvu only scored 17 on em to squeak out a win. I think we can do it.
Update! The Horns are dogs no more. We are now favored by 1.5 points and the O/U is 54. The $ has been on Texas.
The sportsbooks must all have been quite ecstatic this afternoon...this helped make up for the beating that they took in the RRS.
