One vote in the latest AP College Football Rankings. Let that sink in.

Wow. Not surprised, but Baylor, TCU, SMU, aggy, piggy, UH, seems like everybody from the old SWC are making us choke on their dust.

    I guess there's still Rice.

Their only other wins are against UNT and FCS Liberty. Whoever gave them a vote in the poll was only looking at the game yesterday.

That is so far down the list of problems in Travis County that it wouldn't make a blip on the radar of a tea cup.

Yeah but no. I'm an SMU season ticket holder. Outside of last night, they've been downright putrid in every game, including their 2 other wins. They caught lightning in a bottle last night, and their defense is sometimes saltier than ours, but they're not a good team overall, particularly without Aggie transfer Matt Davis. Hicks might be the future of the team, but he's not as good as Buechele. Their defensive "give ups" have been worse than ours, especially against Temple and to a lesser extent, against their Big 12 opponents.

Last night was a weird example of Ward showing his weaknesses when they got down by 21 early. Applewhite relied on his QB to make too many plays and abandoned the run.

I think we'd roll them by about the same amount as the ISU game.

Watched part of the game. UH was flat and didn't seem to be at maximum effort.

I'm not sure we could beat Rice right now...but at least halftime would be entertaining...
