What do you do all week?
    Do you practice tackling?
Have your players ever been briefed on which things are not legal?
What do you do all week?
Would you say that there is a defensive "strategy" in place? lol j/k
Are defensive players sometimes asked to do specific things in specific situations? see strategy question above
Would you say you have earned your pay in recent weeks - if not what is your favorite charity?
Do you ever observe recorded game play of your opponents to understand what they do so that you might prevent it from working so well?
What do you do all week?

    And a few more:

Did you know that K.State started a less experienced O.L than you did?
Did you see the open field tackle Ertz made on Freeman?
How did Ertz look like a scatback wearing a bulky knee brace?
Did you know that K.State QB's waited till your D.E.'s ran past the pocket so they could gain big yardage scrambling? It's in their play book.
Do you know that you can actually take a knee in the end zone on a kickoff? And that there are 3 things that can go wrong when you don't?
Do you think your offense is more likely to score if you start your possession on the 25 that the 10?
How do you get 3 off-sides penalties on the opening drive of the game?

All those things piss me off to no end because they're just so easy to correct by even a Jr High coach, but that one pisses me off the most. That was obvious from the 1st scramble yet we never adjusted. Our defense is the definition on insanity x100. K St did everything they could to give us the game yet we still found a way to lose. That is the epitome of poor coaching. Good coaches find a way to win.

I have been wondering what the hell they have been doing during the past 2 off-seasons?

If the KRs need the coaches to point out this to them, then they aren't very intelligent football players. But the coaches still should be pointing them out.

I don't think it's about intelligence. Those guys are big-play athletes that are used to making big plays at the HS level. They're convinced that they're fast enough and explosive enough that every play is a chance to hit a home run. So they're stubborn about it and are convinced that this time it will work. I'm starting to wonder if some of the young stars still have not figured out that it takes more than that to make plays at this level - if your special teams isn't making blocks and executing the return scheme, it doesn't matter how fast you are or how good a runner you are. You're going down at the 10.

I dunno, maybe that IS about intelligence. But I think it's probably more about pride and poor teaching.

You're right, it probably is more stubbornness and pride than intelligence. But, how many times do you have to not make it out to the 20 much less the 25 before you realize that you aren't making it to the 20 much less the 25? So, there's some intelligence issues there too.

In fairness to our players, this seems to be a problem everywhere in college football at the moment.

What happened to calling stunts with the DL like we did vs ISU ?
In the playbook we don't have..Is there not a reverse, Dbl reverse pass, Swinging Gate, anything ? Is there a rule against putting both RBs in the backfield with Shane or 18 wheeler ? .....Christ !!!!! Get creative for goodness sakes !!!!

I sent Gilbert a play, where the QB pitches to Foreman, he tucks it in his shirt behind him and gives the Alfred E Newman shrug and walks gingerly sideways looking at his nails.
Once he hits the sideline he points at a Pom Pom and then quick like a rabbit he takes off.
    No response from Gilbert.
