For what it is worth he is a school administrator's worst nightmare. The saving grace may be this is the $EC we are talking about.

It is funny to listen to Chris Simms fans still blasting away at Applewhite......

Bigger questions, does Herman bring Oscar Giles with him back to Texas when Defensive Ends were winning National awards? Roach and Hager would be scary under Oscar's guidance!

His UH bio talks all about his players that he coached at Texas it is funny that it is a recruiting poster for Texas in a UH coaches profile.

SEC! LSU would close the English Dept to fund Mike the Tiger's funeral.

If Oregeron gets the job, LSU will tell the NCAA they are out of room for them to have an office, but they are setting them up an office sharing arrangement with their friend "Mike".

He said he has been open with his team, thats cool with me. I don't care that he stiff arms the media. Screw 'em.

If he's the man we'll all know at the appropriate time. Heck, AD may have already told Charlie he won't be coming back.

At this point, I just want change ...
CFB Sirius praised Colorado for patience. And they are now good.
I don't know his track record. But I don't want to wait any more.
Why does $5mil get you more time?

Herman may have just confirmed what many are speculating...his team suddenly disengaged causing him to look like a diminished choice.

By saying he's had open and honest discussions with his team, if true he's told them he'll accept an offer if the right opportunity offers.

Sounds to me like he shot straight and it took the wind out of their sails.

No way a previously stout and consistently high effort team that manhandled OU would fall flat against Navy and SMU without losing dedication in the locker room.

Since there was no sign of it during the many games before the Navy loss, have to believe it's not poor coaching.

I assume UH will lose a few more and it won't diminish Herman's status much as the powers that be know his team bowed out once he was on the way out.

Another group of douche bags that I've never heard of. Yes, CU was patient, but think about it. They are worse than broke, they had five years to raise $300,000 for a practice bubble and couldn't do it. Bitsy Hofman fired Barnett without realizing they owed him $8 million. It has been 26 years since CU was relevant in football, but again this is because they have NO MONEY and haven't had any.

What a joke - CU goes through how many coaches since McCartney told them to kiss his ***?

    Two things I have learned:
    1. Paul Finebaum saying something means absolutely nothing. Granted, he probably asserts his opinion as fact no less than anyone else out there, he's just more obnoxious and ill-informed than most.
    2. "All but official" is even more worthless than no. 1.
