Honestly, without regard to who is right or wrong on the issue, posting private messages in the threads should not be done.

Sending private messages instructing a poster what they are and are not to say to themselves is beyond ridiculous and is deserving of every bit of mockery that follows, especially when the recipient is incapable of replying to it.

I agree. While I don’t like the hostile and juvenile PM that was sent to @Hpslugga, the expectation of privacy in Conversations here should be respected.

If you get a nasty PM from someone please just report it to me privately.
However mockery-worthy it may be, publicly posting the PM on a thread crosses a line in my view. Let’s not do it.

Chances are that it shall be determined that this is incorrect. [/sarc]

Look I don't have any issue with that, but if that's how we're gonna play it then there needs to be an unlimited ability to reply. I was simply going to zing a one liner and be done with it, but since that was not available and since that guy doubtlessly knew this, that's why I ****** him over in public. Call it an option B

Hmm. The Texas Gameday crew has spent a lot of time critiquing the offense today. I guess they don't know value and are not serious people. Ricky, VY, and Manny Acho.

But, I'm sure you will either ignore this or have a snappy retort as to why this is a ridiculous post and those guys aren't serious, etc.

    Did they praise the defense?

No, but like I have said they did not place all blame on any one aspect. Which, of course, no one criticizing the offense has done, either.

Edit: Of course, the point is that it is not out of line to criticize the offense. They came through today in the end. So did the defense.

    1) I lol'd at the trick play comment. But I understand you more after you clarified. I give Gilbert positive grades, but acknowledge he can improve. I think he will.
    2) I definitively blame the offense for the 24-21 loss. The defense did their part.
    3) Run the picket fence.
