Uconn is taking on Notre Dame tonight on ESPN 2 at 6 (CT). They are ranked #1 and #2, flip flopped in both polls. Who do y'all think will win tonight. I'm going with UConn, but would not be upset if ND pulls off the win!

In the early going, Texas looked better against UConn than Notre Dame, but again, it's early.

Sorry (not sorry) to be comparing our outing again UConn to Notre Dames, but we out rebounded UConn all game and right now at the middle of the first quarter, UConn is out rebounding Notre Dame 6-2

Thanks, Rexy, I had forgotten about this game. Looks like maybe we woke up UConn. They look pretty good. We will see how it ends up.
    Ooh, offensive foul on Samuelson.

It's turned into a good game. Tied 34 at the half. UConn has hit 1-6 3-pointers. Gosh wish that were the case in our game.

Joyner featured during the in studio halftime show among the 4 freshmen to watch. Great highlights of her (and commentary by Lobo).

Turner was too far under the basket on those two misses. UConn wasn't missing that much against us. Dang, ND is just missing point blank shots.

saw that feature on the four frosh. Joyner is going to be special, although UConn fans seem to think she would have been better off at their school. :rolleyes1:

not much different in scores from our game with the Huskies. UConn lived on the FT line in the fourth. I only saw part of the first half but does ND do anything different with Turner other than pass over the top to her? Only saw her take a short jump shot, otherwise, layups were her bread and butter.

ND making a late run to bring the score closer.

Saw beginning of the game then had to leave for church. Got home in time to see the 4th quarter. UConn always seems to just be able to wear down their opponents. I'm sure Notre Dame is not happy with how they finished the game either, but it does look like we could hang with ND too.

Texas could beat ND easily in my opinion!

"Easily" is a stretch. But I would most certainly believe we had a legitimate shot to win.
