Major Applewhite named. UH head coach

    I've always believed that the job of HC was Major's destiny. My guess is that he will exceed expectations.

    Good for Major. At least UH has the comfort of knowing that UT will not hire him away.

    Hope he does great.

    That's because Herman is so successful that he's the last UT coach I see in my lifetime

    I happened to have my radio on at work after lunch. They carried Major's intro press conference live. Major sounded great. He will keep the ball rolling at UH I believe. Good for him.

    I hope he has two great years and then moves on to a head coaching job in Florida or something.

    Herman hires good people, teaches them and demands a lot from them. They get promotions. Herman uses opportunity to hire another good person and start the process all over again.
    Get used to it Hornfans.
    The revolving door for assistants is going to be just as active as during the Strong years. The difference is, we won't be thrilled about who is leaving..
