Lots of talk about Vince Young, but I didn't see a thread for Colt this week.

I didn't watched the game, but it looked like he did well until he got injured. 17/28 for 241 with 1 TD and 1 INT. Sounds like a pretty good game.

And it looks like he could be back next week,The Link Good to hear it appears to not be that severe ofa sprain. I'd like to see him finish out the season starting.

I was 'watching' the game on ESPN's gamecast, and I know the INT came on the last play, but I was wondering if someone who watched it knew if it was a bad pass, or just a hail-mary type thing.

it was a deflected pass from what i read. not sure if it was off the offensive player, but i know it was deflected.

The INT was a deflected pass near the end zone on the last play. Colt was hurt early in the 3rd quarter and couldn't scramble which, unfortunately, has provided evidence to the nay sayers about his lack of NFL skills.

Seems strange that an ankle sprain in the 3rd quarter -- which he played the rest of the game with -- would be severe enough to cause him to be shut down for the last 6 weeks of the season. Maybe they know the season is over, that he will be the clear starter next year, and that they don't want him to regress by playing on a badly sprained ankle (anything is possible, I suppose), but that article definitely is lacking in the sort of details that would fill that story out.

from my vantage point (watching the game in the Sports Book at Caesars), it sure looked like Colt's pass was to the receiver in good shape but the receiver let it bounce off their chest and into the hands of a defender.

IMO, it looked like two games in a row that Colt effing McCoy was about to pull out and where a receiver botched things.

Secondary to the issue is that after taking this upcoming game off the board due to the uncertainty about the QB position, Cleveland is now favored by 11 against Carolina. Did not realize that Carolina sucked THAT bad...because I cannot say I was impressed by Cleveland prior to Colt getting his shot.

I remember some pretty good years for Titans with Steve McNair at QB. In 2007 the Browns were 10 - 6.

Preparing intensely for something that most likely will not happen. That is mental toughness.
