Carthage Bulldogs, class 4A Div 1 state champs.......just down the road here in Shreveport in Panola County. Used to squirrel hunt down in the Sabine bottom between DeBerry and Carthage all the time.....5 titles in 9 years is pretty amazing run for them!
as anyone, (and I Mean ANYONE) from the Abilene area (including both major high schools, Cooper and Abilene High) would attest, we do enjoy when Abilene Wylie loses to ANYBODY!! thank you Carthage!
