The Purple Wizzard is amazing. I read today that KSU has not had a 4* recruit since 2007, yet Snider has kept them relevant, in bowl games, and now beating aggie.

He also graduates his players and has no off-field issues I am aware of.

Hats off to the Purple Wizzard and nice job putting aggie in its place.

He is brilliant. KSU better have a good cryogenics department so that they can keep his brain alive forever, and never have to replace him. KSU minus Bill Snyder is not relevant.

My son had a great comment about Coach Snyder. When we were discussing the Bad Hatter and how many souls he had to sell to the devil to keep his weird "luck" going. Then came this, "Miles may sell his soul to the devil, but Bill Snyder is a warlock; the devil is afraid of him."

Amazing what he has been able to do to us besides 2002 I think when they were highly ranked and we beat them. ND and KSU are the only two programs, I believe, who we have played 10+ times and we have a losing record to. ND you can understand, but K freaking SU? Unbelievable.

Big respect to Snyder. He knows how to coach up whatever talent he has available.

I'm sure if he were younger, schools like UT would be throwing big money at him.

    Chicago,

Our record against Vanderbilt is something like 3-8-1, but I don't think we've played them since the 1920s.

I have a friend who went to Vandy, and he never lets me forget that. He says they don't have much to brag about, so he lives in Houston and that's his "brag".

Sounds like a moron lol. I missed that about Vandy when I had checked that recently.

I always though that Coach Snyder always did more with less. Plus it sucks getting beat by kids you didn't recruit because you thought there were better choices out there.

The old-time definition of a good coach: he can take his'n and beat your'n, and he can take your'n and beat his'n.
Plus he looks like he is about 50. He already retired once and arose from Bolivian. He'll probably coach 20 more years, and we'll win one or two of those (if we're lucky).

Snyder is all business and a great coach. He pays strict attention (very strict attention) to detail. His assistants turn in a report after a practice and he grades that report and even corrects mistakes in red ink.

Tom Herman is of the exact same model. Difference being that Herman WILL get those elite players.

I've said it before; this won't be a fair fight.
