These sanctions are clearly politically motivated. Obama should be ashamed. It was ironic to watch liberals go nuts over Trump taking a congratulatory phone call from the Taiwanese President, but they have been very supportive of Obama's reckless treatment of Russia.
It's designed to put Trump in a bind. If he reverses the sanctions, then it looks like Trump is whoring for Putin.
