I really had no idea that KU's athletic facilities were better than Darrell K Royal/Texas Memorial Stadium, Frank Erwin Center, Disch-Falk Field, Jamail Texas Swim Center, Myers Track & Soccer Stadium, Moncrief/Neuhaus Athletic Center, Al-Rashid Strength Comlex, Cooley Pavilion, Charline McCombs Field, UT Golf Club and Academy, Weller Tennis Center.... my fingers are getting tired typing in all of the multi-multi-multi-million dollars of capital assets of the UT-Austin athletics programs.
Yeah, we're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind Kansas in state-of-the-art athletics facilities.
Huh?
Oh, b/t/w, plenty of rankings/analysis on the web of what the best athletics facilities/football facilities are around the country. Here's one that has Texas as number 3. Go figure:

3. Texas

Texas is far and away the cream of the crop when it comes to facilities in the Big 12, and easily near the top in the nation.
The football team gets to play at DKR Stadium, which is incredible in and of itself, but the amenities provided to players in the football complex are insane.
In a state that idolizes football, the Longhorn football program has long been Mecca, and these ridiculous digs for the football program cement that status.
Ridiculous screens to entertain players and teach the the system are scattered across the facility, as well as hot tubs, pools, meeting rooms, a practice field and a plethora of burnt orange.
Stop by some time and be amazed by the status that a Texas player enjoys in such palatial accommodations.
On second thought maybe my sarcasm meter needs calibrating as to OP?
