Can anybody tell me how many and which of our freshmen offensive linemen redshirted last year.? We took a number of highly regarded ones and I don't recall seeing many/any of them playing last fall

I could be wrong about this but if I recall correctly, OL's who played were Zach Shackelford, Denzel Okafor, and Jean Delance. Those who redshirted were Patrick Hudson, Tope Imade, JP Urquidez and Peyton Aucoin (TE).

Thanks for that answer. I am a firm believer in OL (and DL since two platoon) win championships. Since 1934 when most agree that a 'consensus' national champion has been voted, one school won the first three. Minnesota. And they haven't won much since. You can be sure that their linemen were gigantic, agile, and had more z', y's and x's in their names that vowels. We have some very good OL's in the brew

Major redshirted first year and didn't crack the two-deep at any point last year. From everything I've read, he's just a guy that needs lots of work on technique but has lots of physical tools. I guess how quickly he plays depends on how quickly the light comes on.

He hurt his hand which required surgery. Kept him out for most of season.

looks like we'll only take 1 or 2 OL this year (OC, OG, OT). I hope our redshirts develop.

Of the top 2 OL in TX in 2018, we've offered the OG, but not the OT. aggies have the next two.
