Odd comment for a Baylor commit to make about wanting to play with Ariel and Brooke. Must be some backstory there.

She was a UT commit at one point so she probably knows them pretty well.

Although it is a compliment to Ariel and Brooke, I find it odd because she committed to Baylor when she could have committed to Texas (and played with Ariel and Brooke). Richards is very talented and I wish we could have held onto her commitment.

28.9 points is such a huge scoring average. I can't even imagine it. Not many players out there at any level that average that number. Look forward to seeing how she finishes out her high school career, and how she does as a Longhorn.

Not a great look for Chastity Patterson! I'm sure she gets mauled every game by the defense but she needs to keep her cool!

Ah...yea! My understanding was she only got a technical foul out of it. To my knowledge the coach nor the school imposed any additional discipline!

Yikes! Emotion is part of the game but she has to learn how to handle her frustration.

I saw that over the weekend but then couldn't remember where I'd found it when I came here to post.

Not sure if that's an apology or not. Hopefully she learned from it and the future proves it to be an isolated incident.

Chasity filled up the stat line last night in North Shore's first round playoff victory:
    31 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 9 steals

    Didn't even register a double-double. Slacker.

Wow, as much as '16/'17 is shaping up to be an epic year, '17/'18 could be even better with Chasity and Rellah. Can you imagine Joyner and Rellah on the court at the same time?

Clear Falls outscored North Shore 22-13 in the 4th quarter to win 52-51. Chasity had 29 points in her final high school game for North Shore.

Really think we need to add another player to this class. Not sure we if we are pursuing anyone at all. But, a JUCO or international player who can consistently shoot the mid-range jumper would be ideal; or, a big who can bang down low against the Baylor post players would also be helpful.

Seems like Coach A has added a transfer each of the last two seasons; but, they typically have to sit one year before becoming eligible to play.

The "graduate transfer" thing is really catching on in other sports; perhaps we'll benefit from that type of instant addition (eligibility-wise) one day.

If Foman does not return, 2 open in the 2017 class. A grad transfer would be ideal as they would play next season and the spot would open back up for a deep 2018 class.

Looks like former Florida signee and this year's Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year, #61 overall G Karissa McLaughlin, is focusing on Big 10 country (Michigan, Purdue and Indiana) and Florida - reopened her recruitment after UF fired Butler but the girl can shoot the ball:
"That's all before she unleashes her deadly 3-point shot -- 46.1 percent last season, to be exact."

Another re-opened recruitment due to the departure of CCD from USC, #33 Destiny Littleton (California Gatorade Player of the Year) scored 4,300 (!?) points in her prep career and shot 41% from BTA as a senior (150 makes on 367 attempts); 57% from the floor (286 of 502); made 90% of her free throws (344 of 382). Louisville and Michigan were the other finalists along with USC - would be nice if SoCal legend and USC alum Tina Thompson could get a foot in the door.
