So just a scrolling announcement at the bottom of LHN saying that Tashia Foman is gone for an indefinite time to take care of personal issues.....Okay, privacy issues and such....

But didn't see Kahleann at either the K-State or Baylor games. Any idea why she's MIA?

Khaléann has an ear injury, severity unknown to fans. They do keep some info from us. :smile1:

Khaleann has not been able to stay healthy throughout her collegiate career. Hope it all works out or her, but there are some players whose bodies just don't hold up enough to play college sports

Not sure at all about Tasia's issues. But, hope things work out for her as she hopes. Time will tell if she returns to the team in the future.

Still no sign of Khaleann. It must be serious if she hasn't even been able to attend the games. Granted, we've only had one home game in over a week, and two road games where I wouldn't expect her to travel if she was unable to play.

My gut tells me not to expect her or Tasia back for the rest of the season. Faint hope for the Big 12 tourney for Khaleann, but I'm not feeling it.

The other Sister was on the bench last night.

Yes, Khaleann was back on the bench, but in warmups like Jatarie. I think that means she has not yet been cleared to play.

Although I don't know the situation about Foman's departure, she seemed like a dedicated player and team member. Hopefully, she's healthy and dealing positively with her circumstances.

I heard 3rd hand about her circumstances, but debated with myself if it's right to put it out here - after all, it was heard 3rd hand. It's not medical or family. I guess I can say that.

We do need Khaleann to return and play some minutes to spell Joyner. But, with her already having missed time earlier in the season with a different injury, we'll see if conditioning is a factor after having missed around 3 weeks recently. All we can do is hope she can return to the court soon.

What you heard from a 3rd party , as her parent I can assure you is not correct. It would be best to wish Tasia well and move on from this topic . I assure you the reasons you said are untrue. If you heard it from a third party it would be best to tell them not to repeat what they have heard . If any of what is going on with Tasia and repeated it , and it were true . That would not be good (legally) for the 1st party who would have had to repeat it .So I assure you you third party is incorrect and it would not be a goid thing to find out anything had been discussed , because I assure you no one from Texas would have dissused it with anyone because only few know . So wish her well and leave it at that or go ahead and say what you think you know because if any of what you know is correct it will not be good for the first party

And if you really knew you wouldn't have to debate with yourself . And if you do know and had to debate with yourself . You need to debate with yourself about what kind of person you are . Would it be from concern or just being nosey ?

I have not kept up with the specifics of the topic here, but I just want to remind everyone: please be very careful with rumors and hearsay, especially about UT student-athletes. Personal matters or potentially sensitive issues should not be discussed on a public forum.

Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss privately.

    Thanks.

Where did you get information that Tasia would not be returning?

Fellow posters, we should not..........and I repeat SHOULD NOT discuss this topic in the public forum anymore. Neither in general, or as a response to specific question. If you communicate via PM that is fine.

Just to clarify certain legal HIPPA guidelines and regulations. Coaches/administrators or anyone otherwise affiliated with the university (name and or title) are not to discuss any issues regarding a student athletes health status(s). The same applies to their academic standards. So in the unlikely event this "knowledge" was obtained from a university source it is in fact illegal and could expose the university to liability.

To further clarify, there are a few exceptions. If you heard from a fellow student athlete who heard directly from the source or someone not affiliated with the university in any way and repeated it, that is not a violation because the origin of the information is not a university official.

So when repeating things you "hear" in confidence, poor taste aside, you must consider the origin of the original information.
