Horns are home again this weekend for a now huge 3 game set with K-State. At 0-3 in conference and just 14-10 on the season, any hopes for a post season require that Texas get things going and winning this series while not a "drop dead must" is pretty dang important. Dominating pitching by Horns to go with just enough offense for a 2-0 series opening win. Like so many of the Augie years this team appears to have the pitching to win a lot but the offense is still a work in progress. question is are we that good pitching-wise (because I know hitting isn't there) or is K-State that weak?? regardless, sweep is a priority--do it 'Horns!!
Great win .......but frustrating when a Senior commits a little league miscue that nearly cost us a game. Great win and a much needed sweep !!!!!!!!!
Yes the mistake was little league, but overcoming it and finding a way to win was Big League! Would not have happened last year.
Kacy threw behind the runner and threw too early. Guy was stuck in no man's land and he should've run right at the guy and forced him to make his move before throwing. That said, everyone makes mistakes and fortunately the guys were able to overcome it.
