Good to see us WIN on Tuesdays....
Missed game due to calling ball tonight.
Glad to hear Cantu has started to come out of his huge slump.
Would be great to have him start thumping the ball.
Need to take brooms to Kansas.

more than half the crowd was wearing orange and stayed for the singing of the Eyes when it was over. Glad to see we are playing on the road some; I always thought playing in our womb all year was a mistake.

Saw no displays of hostility to the visiting team and friends who are not alums and have no ties expressed hope that Horns would continue home and home with our local team.

The disparity in talent in pitching was sort of glaring and it might have been real ugly if they played nine innings instead of seven.

Great weather, great ballpark and great to see the Horns baseball team again after many years. I rarely missed a game when i was a student in Austin

One wish: the Horns come to town next year and we dedicate a statue, a section, a street or something to my generation's greatest Horn pitcher, Burt Hooton, who is from Corpus and is not honored by any public commemoration. Maybe we can get him down for the event. Will work on it.

and please quit referring to the local school as Aggie anything. Aggie is a college station thing; the locals are the Islanders of A&M Corpus Christi. Not Aggie. The real Aggies don't consider us Aggies and none of the kids there call themselves Aggies.

    NO AGGIES please

Went to the game as well and agree with Huisache's takes. UT needs to play a game at Whataburger Field every year. It is a great venue, it helps recruiting as corpus high schools play great baseball and it brings a lot of fans/alumni out that do not get to see Texas play often. I thought the Texas Exes pregame event at Brewster's had a great turnout as well.

Cantu's home run was really fun and got everyone fired up.
