Great job by Coach Aston and staff on getting Destiny Littleton. I like the fact that Coach Aston is always trying to improve the team.

I think that was the "Megan Walker" slot that was available.

Had a feeling it was gonna go down late last night. The fact that texaswbb had been retweeting her earlier tweets about an upcoming announcement, figured the signs were pointing to Texas.

This is just a huge gift late in the recruiting process. Definitely gives Texas more offensive firepower offensively. Destiny and Chasity were finalists in the McDonald's 3-point shooting contest. Rellah Booth also competed, but did not reach the finals. So, Texas brings in 3 recruits at different positions who have confidence in their long range shooting.

She's battled injuries during her senior season; so, it's important she get healthy and improve her conditioning.

Congrats to the staff for their hard work!

Boom!! What a recruiting class! I had a good feeling about this happening! I would like to see if the ESPN rankings for the 2017 recruiting class changes. I could not find it on there web site. Tennessee was originally ranked #1. Texas should be taking over that spot! Coach Aston and her staff have done an Amazing job!
When do the Season Tickets go on sale???

Found it but I don't think we'd jump to #1 but it could be close - Tennessee's class included 2, 9, 12 and 55 but it should move Texas past UCONN (1, 14, 29 and 37) at #2.

My disappointment with not getting Megan Walker’s commitment is a distant memory. Our 2017 recruiting is outstanding and perfect for our needs. Funny how things work out.

Now our coaches have the challenge of dealing with a wealth of talent. They have the tough task of managing egos, maintaining healthy chemistry as well as creating an offense that maximizes our talents and strengths. Texas is going to receive more national attention and be in the spotlight. Our days of being young, inexperienced and doing more with less, are now off the table.

This is really exciting. Now, as LutherIsMy says, how to make it all mesh. But that's a nice problem to have. It will be hard to guard Brooke, Chasity, and Destiny (not to mention everyone else) all at the same time.

A tough call, though one thing is for certain. With Jatarie included (not officially, of course) as a part of our class, whatever the ranking, we definitely have the best incoming group in the country!

I'm gonna post on this at Player Management 2017-18, because this discussion seems to be moving in that direction.

I don't like Destiny's choice of metaphors, but she is absolutely correct that Karen needs a couple more pure shooters to "push us over the edge."

This is a Great video of Rellah and friends enjoying themselves. That poor girl guarding her must have learned her lesson.

Congrats to Chasity on being named Ms. Basketball for the state of Texas:

UT has Ms. Basketball from 2 states (Texas and California) in this class. Florida has too many other problems to try to figure out why Rellah wasn't Ms. Basketball.

Man, I am breathing a sigh of relief after all the talk, especially on the UConn board, about Rellah not coming. Thx for posting, LIMD.
